A 27-year GIC veteran, Mr Lee Kok Sun was the Chief Investment Officer of GIC Real Estate before retiring in 2024. He was instrumental in developing the sovereign fund’s real estate portfolio into a global industry leader with more than 350 investments in over 40 countries, ranging over both private and listed real estate equity and debt.

Prior to his appointment as investment chief, he was also GIC's regional head of Americas for real estate, and co-head for GIC's Asia real estate operations, covering its portfolio across the Asia-Pacific region.
